Footsteps in the pavement...

Have you spotted these tiny neon footsteps around Salisbury?
It's a marketing strategy by the Business Improvement District ( BID) to get visitors to check out shopping streets they might not have otherwise
The city's fourth Christmas Market opens on Thursday ( 26th November) and tens of thousands of visitors are expected in our city.

The footsteps are stencilled in paint which washes off after about six weeks.
Meanwhile the BID are making sure any empty shops in the city look their best by arranging for the premises to be professionally wrapped with seasonal graphics promoting Salisbury.
The BID is also keen to remind Christmas shoppers that the Culver Street car park is free after 3pm on weekdays and all day Sunday as well as Bank Holidays.
